About Sugar Maple
Sugar Maple is a native tree. Flowers appear April to May, in shades of yellow & green. Does best in full sun to part shade with moist soil. Reaches 20 m–35 m at maturity. Draws bees and caterpillars (as a larval host) to the garden. Deer tend to leave it alone.
